Mutual of Omaha is introducing a new enhancement to make managing multiple producers even simpler. Soon, producers (brokers) and authorized broker assistants will be able to switch users directly within the Account Manager—no need to log out and back in.

This update is especially helpful for assistants supporting multiple brokers throughout the day, saving time and improving efficiency.

Mutual of Omaha has announced in-force rate adjustments for certain LTCI policies in Louisiana. The changes will go into effect on Aug. 1, 2026.

OneAmerica Financial is enhancing the Flex underwriting experience in iGo (Sales Connection) to provide greater transparency into exam and lab requirements ordered through ExamOne. When submitting a Flex case, agents will be prompted to confirm an email address to receive consolidated status updates — one summary email per day covering exam or lab orders placed, exams scheduled, and exams or labs completed. No changes to the submission process are required; simply confirm or edit the notification email address when prompted.

Mutual of Omaha’s Long-Term Care In-Force Quoting Tool is now available in Sales Professional Access (SPA) under Sales & Marketing > Illustrations & Quoting. The tool allows you to model policy changes in real time, compare current versus adjusted benefits side by side, and test changes to benefit levels, riders, and inflation options — all while staying within product rules automatically. It currently supports LTC09M-CA, LTC13, and LTC17W policies.

Mutual of Omaha will implement inforce rate adjustments on LTC13 Pre policies in Minnesota and Washington, effective July 1, 2026. Policyholders will be notified at least 60 days prior to their premium rate increase and will receive an adjustment offer providing a benefit-reduction alternative where options are available. SecureCare™ IV, Securian’s latest long-term care and nonparticipating whole life policy, has launched in Delaware, Indiana, North Dakota, and South Carolina as of May 4, 2026.

Effective April 30, 2026, CareScout Care Assurance will offer a calendar day deductible period with no change to current premiums. This enhancement is retroactive for all in-force policies and pending applications — existing policyholders will receive a letter with an updated policy, and new applications will be issued with the calendar day deductible period. The feature is available in all CareScout Care Assurance approved states, with the exception of Montana and North Dakota, where approval is pending.

CareScout reminds agents that all states have regulations governing policy replacement and churning activity, requiring additional paperwork to be provided to the applicant and submitted with the application.
